The Circus In Flames joins such artists as Blue Rodeo, Gordon Lightfoot, Ramblin' Jack Elliott and former Byrd, Chris Hillman on The Gift: A Tribute To Ian Tyson. The band was extremely honoured to record Someday Soon accompanied by legendary steel guitarist Buddy Cage of the New Riders Of The Purple Sage, Great Speckled Bird and Bob Dylan's Blood On The Tracks album.
The Baptist, written and performed by Doug Andrew, appears on the Front Porch Roots Revue compilation album produced by Peter North. This version of the song features fellow Circus In Flames band member Brian Barr on mandolin along with Brent Parkin on electric guitar, Byron Myhre on fiddle and Ron Rault on bass.
